KPMG in Romania appoints two new partners

Gabriel Mihai Tanase, Partner, Technology & Cyber Security, and Horatiu Mihali, Audit Partner, will join KPMG in Romania’s partners team from 1 October.

“Given the challenges brought by new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, automation of business processes, and the pressure of cyber threats generated by the ever-growing presence of technology in all personal and professional sides of life, the experience and know-how accumulated are essential to the continuous development of this specialized line of services within Advisory, along with the growth of new highly specialized services. In this evolving environment, where flexibility and quick reaction to change are paramount to our clients, I am looking forward to continuing to coordinate an extraordinary team of professionals in my new role, and to transforming challenges into opportunities”, says Gabriel.

Ramona Jurubiță, Country Managing Partner, KPMG in Romania, adds: “The promotions announced today are an indication of the continued growth of our business, and the expansion of our services to clients throughout Romania. They reflect the effort, passion and accomplishments of Gabriel and Horațiu, and KPMG in Romania’s commitment to support innovation and performance. I congratulate them for their success and I trust they will continue to transform the extraordinary into added value for our clients’ businesses and ensure KPMG remains the clear choice for them and for our people”.
